Synopsis
Den unge gangster, Victor, arbejder for bandelederen Alphonse, der styrer sit forbrydersyndikat med iskold brutalitet, men i virkeligheden bruger Victor Alphonses tillid til at komme så tæt på ham, at han kan hævne sig på de mænd, der nogle år tidligere udslettede hans familie…Samtidig med, at Victor udfører sin hævn, begynder han at betragte – og bliver betragtet af – den mystiske unge Beatrice, der bor sammen med sin mor i lejligheden overfor. Beatrice, hvis ansigt skæmmes af et voldsomt ar, virker sårbar, men er i virkeligheden ude på sit eget hævntogt. Hun har opdaget Victors allerdybeste hemmeligheder, og med truslen om at afsløre ham, tvinger hun ham til at blive sig egen, private, hævnende engel.Både Victor og Beatrice lever for at hævne fortiden, men deres skæbnesvangre møde fører hurtigt til en overordentlig livsfarlig nutid… for ikke at tale om en meget uforudsigelig – og kort - fremtid…
