Synopsis
Tempofyldt komedie der høvler afsted her og nu! JIM CARREY og TÉA LEONI spiller et ægtepar, som endelig får lidt medvind. Efter 15 års knokleri får Dick endelig en top-placering i den store mediekoncern. Jane kan droppe sit job i rejsebureauet, og de kan langt om længe betale for deres hypede liv på overklassens karseklippede græstæpper. Det hele varer 9 timer. Så crasher Dicks drømmefirma - og pludselig skal de starte forfra. Længst tilbage i arbejdsløsheds-køen. Snydt og bedraget af velfærdssamfundet. Hvad gjorde Bonnie og Clyde? Hvad gør Dick og Jane? Tager fra de lidt rigere og giver til sig selv - på den sjove og den gode måde…
