Synopsis
De to politimænd Andreas og Simon lever vidt forskellige liv. Andreas er lykkelig med sin familie, mens den fraskilte Simon bruger størstedelen af sin tid på den lokale stripklub. Men alt bliver vendt op og ned, da de en dag kaldes ud til husspektakel hos et junkiepar. Det ligner en rutinesag – indtil Andreas finder deres forsømte baby overladt til sig selv i et skab. Den ellers så afmålte politimand bliver konfronteret med sin egen magtesløshed og rystes i sin grundvold - og i et øjebliks desperation tager han loven i egen hånd og kidnapper barnet. Efterhånden som Andreas mister grebet om retfærdighed, bliver det op til den uregerlige Simon at genoprette grænsen mellem ret og uret.EN CHANCE TIL er et stort anlagt drama om mennesker, der bliver ofre for omstændigheder større end dem selv. Det er fortællingen om en mand, der overskrider alle gældende regler for at gøre det, han føler er rigtigt – med store konsekvenser.
