GREEN BOOK 212
Synopsis
Da den italiensk-amerikanske udsmider Frank Anthony Vallelonga, også kendt som Tony Lip (Viggo Mortensen), bliver hyret som chauffør og bodyguard for den sorte klavervirtuos Dr. Don Shirley (Mahershala Ali), der skal på en koncertturné fra New York til Sydstaterne, må de gøre brug af en Green Book – en rejseguide til hvilke restauranter og hoteller, der tager imod afroamerikanske borgere – for at sikre at Shirley ikke nægtes servering, ydmyges eller trues på livet. Sat i 60’ernes USA, præget af racisme og borgerrettighedsbevægelsen, bliver Tony og Don kon-fronteret med racehad og egne fordomme, og de får øjnene op for alt det, de har til fælles på deres livs rejse.
